This was originally a cedar clad home, but the owner didn’t want to ongoing maintenance required to have this coated in a timber finish, so they wanted it coated with an opaque colour system.
Because of the deterioration of the boards, they were treated with oxalic acid or deck wash, then high pressure cleaned.
Coated with a slow drying oil based primer to achieve maximum absorption, then top coated with Dulux Weathershield.
