A family painting business serving Hobart since 1994
Performance Painting is a family-owned and operated Hobart painting business established by my father, Brian Holden, in 1994.
Brian built the business around straightforward values: turn up when you say you will, prepare the job properly, respect the customer’s property and complete work you are proud to put your name to.
Today, I continue the business with those same principles at the centre of everything we do.
Continuing the family business
Growing up around the painting industry gave me an early understanding of what separates a lasting, professional result from a quick coat of paint.
Preparation, communication and attention to detail have always mattered…….They still do.
While products, equipment and painting systems have changed over the years, the expectations we place on ourselves have remained consistent. We believe customers should know who is working in their home, what is being done and how the project is progressing.

How It Works
1. We’ll organise a time to inspect your site, and will email you to confirm and remind you of the date and time.
2. At the inspection, we’ll have a chat with you to find out exactly what you’re after, as well as take all of the relevant information needed to prepare your obligation-free quote.
3. Within 24 hours, we’ll send you a detailed, itemised quote that presents and describes everything that we’ll do on the job. This can include a complimentary professional colour consultation, valued at $350 should you choose to work with us.
4. Once accepted, we’ll take an initial deposit and book in a time for our team to start.
5. We’re committed to finishing what we start—every time in a timely manner.
6. Once the job is complete, we’ll issue an invoice. If you, or any of your family and friends require our services or have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to get in touch again.
