Shop Fit-Out Painters Hobart
Painting is often one of the final stages of a commercial fit-out, which means timing, coordination and communication matter.
Performance Painting provides commercial painting for shop fit-outs, retail spaces and other commercial interiors throughout Hobart. We’re a local family business established in 1994, with experience working on commercial projects alongside owners, builders and other trades.
Whether you’re preparing a new retail space, refurbishing an existing tenancy or repainting a shop before reopening, we’ll assess the surfaces, understand the scope and work with the project requirements.
Preparation and finish still matter on a commercial project. We don’t believe a tight programme is an excuse to lower the standard of the painting.
Commercial Painting for Shop Fit-Outs
Every commercial space is different. The required finish depends on the surfaces being painted, how the area will be used and the overall design of the fit-out.
We can work across retail interiors, shopfronts and other commercial spaces, with the painting staged around the requirements of the project.
Preparation and Durable Finishes
Retail and commercial spaces can receive considerably more wear than a typical residential interior.
Surface preparation is important, particularly where we’re working with existing walls, repaired surfaces or areas that have previously been fitted out.
We select coating systems to suit the surface and intended use rather than treating every commercial project the same way.
Working Around Other Trades
On a fit-out, painters are often working alongside builders, electricians, plasterers, flooring contractors and other trades.
Good communication and sensible scheduling help keep the painting moving without unnecessarily holding up other work.
If areas need to be completed in stages, we’ll discuss that as part of planning the project.
Commercial Repaints and Existing Businesses
Not every commercial painting project is a new fit-out.
We also repaint existing shops, offices and commercial spaces where the business may need to continue operating or where access needs to be carefully planned.
We’ll discuss the practical requirements when we inspect the job and work out an appropriate approach for the property.
For larger or broader commercial projects, see our Commercial Painters Hobart service page.
Why Performance Painting?
Performance Painting is a Hobart family business established in 1994.
We bring more than 30 years of painting experience to residential and commercial projects throughout Greater Hobart, with an emphasis on thorough preparation, clear communication and a professional finish.
We’re fully insured and our workmanship is backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty, provided the coating system is maintained as recommended.
We don’t try to win commercial work by promising the cheapest or fastest job. We quote the work we believe is required to complete the project properly.
