This project had a mix of solvent based and water based paints used which makes being a roof painter challenging but fun.
For the classic metallic galvanised look was achieved with a Wattyl product. It looks like liquid silver in the can.
For the front verandah roof stripes, Dulux Weathershield gave a nice finish.
Initially the roof is high pressure washed and then any surface rust located is treated with a rust converter. The paint is then applied with an airless spray system. (not very good on a windy day)
The front stripes were brushed and rolled on.
Quite a nice result.
